Fire/EMS Behavioral Health: The Price We Pay Workshop Series Continues

PERMA will once again sponsor this free workshop series to support first responder health and wellness.
NYSAFC has partnered with the Public Employer Risk Management Association, Inc. (PERMA) to continue the "Fire/EMS Behavioral Health: The Price We Pay" workshop series this year. This program will preview the behavioral health problems that fire/EMS personnel experience. Participants will learn about the skills necessary to recognize and help members who are struggling with mental health issues.
Free workshops, presented by Past Chief Mike Healy (Central Nyack Fire Department) and Past Chief Jared Meeker (Lake Shore Fire District), will be held in Cattaraugus (October 26), Clinton (October 13), Fulton (October 19), Nassau (October 28), Oneida (May 19), Onondaga (November 10), Rensselaer (October 18), Rockland (May 5), Westchester (April 20), and Wyoming (September 27) Counties.
