NYSAFC is sharing this special message on behalf of the New York State Fire Marshal & Inspectors Association.

Dear Valued NYSFMIA Members:

We regret that unavoidable circumstances force us to cancel our 2023 New York State Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association annual educational seminar which was normally scheduled for September.

We know that many of you look forward this educational opportunity and will soon be planning how you will be meeting your annual 24 hours of in-service obligations.

As we began early planning and scheduling, we quickly became aware that we were unable to achieve our goal, to make sure you can always get the best training from fire and life safety professionals in the fastest and most convenient way.

We apologize if the decision causes any inconvenience but, our organization wanted to inform you all as soon as possible, so you have plenty of time to attend many of the other in-person educational conferences and/or online presentations.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by such a short notice, but we are aware that you time is valuable and how important your 24 hours of in-service training is to each one of you.

We ask for your understanding and patients, and we are looking forward to again schedule an educational conference in 2024.
