Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum & Education Center and NYSAFC Partner for the Long Island Metro Fire/EMS Expo

The Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum & Education Center and the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs (NYSAFC) are excited to announce a partnership to deliver a new emergency services expo and educational event on Long Island.

The Long Island Metro Fire/EMS Expo will be held on February 11-13, 2022, at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. The comprehensive event will feature exhibits of new apparatus, tools, equipment, products, technologies, and services, as well as 15 one-hour educational seminars for emergency services personnel.

Expo hours will be Friday, February 11 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, February 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  

Attendee registration is $20 per person, per day and includes entry to the expo and seminars. Tickets will be available at the door.

This event will benefit the museum and the association, supporting their shared mission to serve the fire and emergency services personnel of Long Island and New York state.

The Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum & Education Center, located in Central Islip, NY. and dedicated in 2017, is a private non-profit museum designed to showcase and preserve the rich history of Long Island's volunteer fire and EMS agencies. The museum also provides educational programs throughout the year for the general public and first responders.
